Joshua Nesbitt, QB for Georgia Tech, Heisman material? Well, apparently Tech thinks so. In fact, they recently launched a serious campaign @ nesbitt4heisman.com. The site mimics Dos Equis’s “Most interesting man in the World” commercials. It proclaims that Nesbitt is “the most interesting player in college football” (which actually might be true). In the end, its hard to tell if the whole campaign is a joke or something to actually be taken serious. Check it out.

My best friend, Sean, has been working on his mixtape The Upgrade all summer. It’s done and is out! I can confidently say, without any bias whatsoever, that it is amazing. He has taken his lyrical and recording skills to the next level. What makes this release even more impressive is the fact that he recorded and produced the entire mixtape without ever stepping foot in a studio. In fact, most of the recording tools he used were mere demos. Sean truly put poured his blood, sweat and tears into this tape. It is most definitely a homemade luxury. Be sure to download and enjoy.

Back in the days when i was young i’m not a kid anymore, but some days i sit and wish i was a kid again….

Back in the day I used to race through Calvin and Hobbes. Whenever my mom would take me to the bookstore you already know what I was going to pick out. Somewhere around here I have a box full of books. I should go find it.

I reminisce because while consolidating my feed reader I saw a post about a Calvin and Hobbes search engine that someone (Michael Yingling) put together. It allows you to search through the entire Calvin and Hobbes script, which I guess was previously available online. Check it out. It’ll bring back some good memories.

Didn’t get to travel to Poland. Instead, we went south to Prague in the Czech Republic. Eastern Europe is so different from the West. Everything from the language, architecture, people, currency. It really feels foreign. You can definitely sense the old soviet influence too. Its chilling. literally.

My love for sneakers started towards the end of high school. I’ve amassed a not huge, but satisfactory [by my standards] collection of kicks. This summer was interesting because I was in Europe; I only brought over a couple pairs. In fact, I primarily rocked a pair of brown/purple air structure triax 91 premiums all summer! Even hiked in Switzerland with them. However, I soon realized that the sneaker game in Europe is far stronger than in the states or at least in Atlanta. Even in really small towns in you could find sneaker boutiques. I visited in Patta in Amsterdam and a ton of other dope stores. Paris had a MAD sneaker game. If you ever get a chance to visit check out OPIUM.

But I’m glad to be back with my own stash.

Larry Luk, co-founder of the Process, recently was able to go to the NSW Mercer Store and participate in NIKEid Bespoke. His pair is sick. Fits perfectly with line from last year. Check em out. Found this at STANDARDATL.COM.
