Louvature ad nauseam
LOUVATURE is a play off of Toussaint L’Ouverture. Toussaint was a slave in Haiti in the 1700s. He led a successful slave rebellion against the French and took over the colony. He was widely praised for freeing the slaves and also restoring the economy of Saint-Domingue. No, I’m not from Haiti or do I have any relation to it, but Toussaint L’Ouverture was pretty hardcore. So is my blog….there’s the connection.
My name is David. I live in Atlanta, attend Georgia Tech. I started ‘Louvature Is My Hero’ on March 18, 2008. It wasn’t the first time I had a blog. I had failed many time before. However, I stuck with Louvature, and it grew into something bigger than I could have ever imagined. The majority of my posts are Art, Design, Music, Architecture, Fashion, and News. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks for the support.
